Access WhatsApp Banking now live – Start now

access-bank-whatsapp-banking Banking in Nigeria has started taking a new turn as technology is being adopted into the banking system in Nigeria by Nigeria’s leading financial institutions First Bank recently launched their banking with whatsapp and now Access Bank keeps its tradition of breaking new boundaries of innovation with the Access WhatsApp Banking. From their official website, it was stated that WhatsApp Banking is an alternative channel that provides financial services to existing and potential customers through use of WhatsApp application, leveraging on the real-time messaging capabilities of the Whatsapp platform. WhatsApp Banking is a social media platform designed to allow existing and potential customers make use of financial services that Access Bank offers such as funds transfers, airtime purchase, bill payments, account opening, BVN display, Balance Enquiry, Request Payday Loan. The Access WhatsApp banking is a non-intrusive service that doesn’t require users to download a new application or use extra data to access the options available. It works with the existing WhatsApp application and can be used immediately.

HOW WhatsApp Banking WORkS

  1. Open WhatsApp
  2. Say ‘Hi’
  3. A menu will appear for you to select an option.
  4. Select ‘Register’
  5. Input your first and last name
  6. Input your email address
  7. Input default Access Bank Account Number”
  8. Registration is complete.
  9. Access WhatsApp Banking will ask if further assistance is needed.
  10. Access WhatsApp Banking ends session.

To connect with Access Bank on Access WhatsApp, all customers need to do is, add the mobile number- +234 9090 901 901, as a contact in their phones – “Access WhatsApp Banking”-  the same way they would any other number. Instruction is as stated above  It is important to note that customers must use the number registered to their personal accounts with the Bank.
